EVENING SIGH from Manhattan, New York, 1943

St. Matthew's parishoner praying for her soldier brother.

Location:New York, USA
Date taken:1943

Anima Christi

Soul of Christ, sanctify me;
Body of Christ, save me;
Blood of Christ, inebriate me;
Water from the side of Christ,
wash me;
Passion of Christ, strengthen me,
O good Jesus, hear me;
Within Thy wounds, hide me;
Separated from Thee never let me be;
From the evil one, protect me;
At the hour of my death, call me,
And bid me come to Thee,
that with Thy saints
I may praise Thee, for ever and ever.
Amen.

  1. We need to remember to pray each and every day.No matter, what belief you are, just pray and feel close to God. Your departed family, friends and angels of God are always around us. God bless my angelic son, Daniel Edward Kazer. I feel his presence all around me.
